Omar Shakir is an experienced Senior Human Resources Specialist currently working at NESR since January 2022. With a strong background in HR transformation, workforce planning, and strategic leadership, Omar has developed expertise in various aspects of human resource management, including employee engagement, performance management, and recruitment. Previously, Omar served as a Human Resources Generalist at Sonangol P&P Iraq, focusing on talent acquisition and ensuring compliance with Iraqi labor laws. Other roles include Talent Acquisition Specialist at International Medical Corps and Human Resources Technical Officer at Norwegian Refugee Council, where Omar actively participated in recruitment processes and performance management. Omar holds a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the CIPD and an Engineering degree from the University of Tikrit.
