Claudia Kinkela has extensive experience in academia and grant management within the humanities sector. Since September 2008, Claudia has served as a Senior Program Officer in the Division of Research at the National Endowment for the Humanities, where responsibilities include managing the review process of humanities applications and advising applicants on grants. Previously, Claudia was a Visiting Assistant Professor at both American University and Georgetown University, focusing on political theory, political philosophy, and the history of ideas from ancient to contemporary thinkers. Claudia holds a Doctorate in Political Science from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and studied at Duke University.
