May Catherine Agang-Jao is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Head of the Accounting Division at the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) in the Philippines since December 2015. Responsibilities include overseeing daily accounting transactions, reviewing monthly financial reports, and preparing monthly accountability reports for the NEDA Central Office. Prior to this role, May worked as a Tax and Accounting Officer at Asiaciti Trust from June 2013 to December 2015, focusing on tax return preparation and compliance with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. Additionally, May served as an Associate at Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co., where a diverse range of clients, including manufacturing firms and financial institutions, were audited. May holds a Master of Public Management and Administration from Rikkyo University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College.
