Christopher Marsh serves as the Chair and Associate Professor of the Joint Special Operations Master of Arts program at the National Defense University, focusing on special operations and irregular warfare, particularly in relation to Russian and Chinese military strategies. Marsh is also a Non-resident Senior Fellow at the Global and National Security Institute and the Editor in Chief of *Inter Populum: The Journal of Irregular Warfare and Special Operations*. With extensive experience in various strategic and academic roles, including Director of Research at the Joint Special Operations University and a founding editor of the Special Operations Journal, Marsh has contributed significantly to the fields of national security and military studies through research, teaching, and advisory roles within NATO and the U.S. Department of Defense. Marsh holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Connecticut, along with various additional degrees and fellowships in related fields.
