Holly Spalt has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Holly began their career as a Research Fellow at Coastal Fellowship - University of Rhode Island, where they worked under Dr. Thomas Mather, collecting and testing ticks for disease markers for the state of Rhode Island. From there, they moved on to James A. Simon, MD, PC, where they served as a Clinical Research Coordinator. Holly'srole involved coordinating clinical research activities. In 2013, Holly joined NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance) as a Health Care Analyst in the Performance Measurement team. Holly was responsible for analyzing healthcare data. Over the years, they advanced in their role at NCQA and held positions such as Senior Health Care Analyst and Assistant Director in the Quality Solutions Group. Currently, they serve as the Director of the Quality Solutions Group at NCQA, leading the development and implementation of quality improvement solutions.
Holly Spalt holds a Master's Degree in Health Informatics, which they obtained from George Mason University in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Health Information Technology from The George Washington University in 2013. Holly completed their undergraduate education at the University of Rhode Island from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a B.S. in Biology and minored in Spanish Language and Literature. Additionally, they studied Biological Science at Universidad de Puerto Rico, Humacao in 2009 and Spanish Language and Culture at Universidad de Granada, Spain until 2007.
