Clera Ryu, DMA, serves as an Associate Pianist for the National Children's Chorus since January 2023 and has held various roles within esteemed institutions, including Affiliated Artist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Adjunct Professor at Lesley University. Ryu has been a Staff Pianist at both the New England Conservatory of Music and Boston University since 2019 and contributes as a Pianist for Cantilena Women’s Chorale and Accompanist for Boston Children's Chorus since 2015. Additionally, Ryu works as a Self-Employed Collaborative Pianist, providing support to musicians across various levels in recitals, recordings, and competitions. Previous teaching experience includes serving as a Piano Teacher at The Brearley School and Adjunct Faculty at Pine Manor College. Ryu earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano from Boston University and a Professional Artist Certificate in Piano from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
