Rana Muhammad ATIF is an Associate Professor and Research Group Lead for the Pulses Breeding Group at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, where responsibilities include teaching and research in plant breeding and genetics since August 2013. Additionally, Rana serves as Lead Bioinformatics and Co-Principal Investigator at the Precision Agriculture & Analytics Lab at the National Center in Big Data and Cloud Computing since June 2018. Rana has held various academic positions, including Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of California, Davis, and postdoctoral researcher at the same institution. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, a Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology, and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture with a focus on Plant Breeding and Genetics, along with prior research experience in agricultural biotechnology.
