Devon Ojeda, PhD, currently serves as a Senior National Organizer and Policy Advocate at the National Center for Transgender Equality since January 2020. Previous experience includes roles as a Science and Technology Policy Congressional Fellow and James Marshall Congressional Fellow for Senator Bernard Sanders at AAAS and the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues, respectively, during the 2018-2019 period. Devon's background also encompasses research and evaluation work at the Community Engagement Institute and roles as a Consulting Research Assistant at Wichita State University. Early career highlights include care coordination at Urban Health Plan and depression case management at the Community Health Care Association of New York State. Devon holds a PhD in Community Psychology from Wichita State University and a Graduate Certificate in LGBT Health Policy and Practice from The George Washington University.
