Lauren Amador is a Senior Associate in Strategic Partnerships at the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards since November 2022, previously serving as an Associate in the same department. In this role, Lauren supports project management to enhance the growth of National Board candidates and establish sustainable systems for teacher certification. Prior experience includes a position as a Sixth Grade Reading Teacher and Reading Instructional Coach in the Gulfport School District from August 2020 to November 2022, focusing on differentiated instruction for diverse student groups. Lauren also worked as a Second Grade Teacher at Saint Matthias School from September 2016 to June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Degree in Elementary Education from Caldwell University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Caldwell University, and an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Raritan Valley Community College.
