Aicha Chafaqi has extensive work experience in the technology field. Aicha currently works as the Principal Architect at Banque Nationale du Canada since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Director of Technology at Morgan Stanley from April 2021 to March 2022. Aicha also has a long history with the National Bank of Canada, where they held various roles including Senior Manager - Architecture from July 2017 to June 2021, Enterprise Integration Architect from November 2016 to July 2017, Architecture Manager - SOA, IAM & Data from February 2016 to November 2016, Solution Architect from September 2011 to February 2016, and Application Architect from May 2005 to September 2011. Earlier in their career, Aicha worked as a Java Software Engineer at OKA CONSULTING LTD. (Client: National Bank Financial) from January 2001 to May 2005, at BGW Multimedia from February 2000 to December 2000, at Canal+ Technologies from May 1999 to January 2000, and at INRIA - Rennes from November 1998 to May 1999.

Aicha Chafaqi completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et d'Analyse des Systèmes (ENSIAS) from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they also earned their BTech in Information Technology from the Institut National de Statistique et d'Économie Appliquée (INSEA) from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, they obtained certifications as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020 and as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in July 2023.
