Rebecca Sentner has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles.
Rebecca began their career as a Special Events Coordinator at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium in 2003 and later transitioned to the role of Events & Sponsorship Coordinator at the Western PA Humane Society in 2004.
In 2005, Rebecca joined the National Association of EMS Educators as an Education & Certification Coordinator, where they were responsible for coordinating national EMS Instructor Courses and Certification Meetings.
Rebecca then moved on to the Printing Industries of America in 2007, where they served as a Marketing Manager. In this role, they managed marketing efforts, coordinated promotional schedules, and supervised marketing assistant and social media/PR coordinator positions.
From 2011 to 2013, Rebecca worked as the Director of Marketing at the Home Performance Coalition, where they developed strategic marketing plans, managed budgets, and supervised marketing, public relations, and social media positions. During their time there, they also served as the Acting Executive Director for a brief period.
In 2013, Rebecca joined EFI as a Marketing Operations Manager, responsible for marketing operations within the organization.
Rebecca then became the Director of Marketing & Development at thread: connecting early care & learning to Alaska in 2014. In this role, they set fundraising and marketing objectives and strategies, oversaw a comprehensive fund development program, and served as a member of the organization's executive management team.
Most recently, Rebecca has worked for the National Audubon Society since 2018, first as the Senior Communication Manager at Audubon Alaska, and currently as the Senior Communications Manager, Boreal Conservation.
Rebecca Sentner obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Robert Morris University, which they attended from 2001 to 2003. Rebecca later pursued a certificate program in Applied Animal Behavior at the University of Washington, completing it in 2018. Prior to their tertiary education, Rebecca attended South Park High School, but no specific years were provided.
