Tanya Mercieca is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in auditing and accounting. Currently serving as the Assistant Auditor General at the National Audit Office Malta since September 2001, Tanya has also contributed as a Member of the Audit Board for EUROCONTROL from July 2019 to June 2023 and as a Member of the College of Auditors at the European Institute for Security Studies from November 2015 to November 2021. Previous roles include Principal Auditor at the National Audit Office and Accountant at Blue Bell Malta Ltd from 1977 to 2001. Tanya holds a degree as a qualified accountant and auditor from the Malta Institute of Accountants, earned between 1995 and 2000.
