Misty Erickson, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in tax content management and training coordination. Currently serving as Tax Content Manager at the National Association of Tax Professionals since June 2016, Misty has also held roles such as Content Specialist, Project Coordinator, and Tax Research Manager within the organization. Prior to this, Misty worked at the Minnesota Department of Revenue from February 2012 to May 2016 as the GenTax Training and Communication Coordinator, developing training plans for system changes. At the State of Minnesota from January 2006 to February 2012, Misty excelled as a Revenue Tax Specialist-Intermediate and Training Coordinator, focusing on training for Individual Income Tax auditors and auditing tax returns. Earlier experience includes serving as a Customer Service Specialist at Hartford Life from October 2003 to December 2005, where Misty managed accounts receivable and ensured service level agreements were met. Misty holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, both from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
