Melanie Kleinheinz is a Senior Tax Accountant at the University of Wisconsin System since January 2013, responsible for maintaining and reconciling tax accounting records and processing year-end tax reporting for a large employee base. Melanie also holds a Certificate of Public Accountant from NASBA, having completed the Financial, Business, and Regulation Sections of the CPA Exam. Prior experience includes serving as a Lead HHC Volunteer for the Family Readiness Group Leader in the Army National Guard, where Melanie received the 2011 Reserve Family and Readiness Award. Earlier roles include an Accountant and Quality Assurance Assistant at Gilson, Inc., and a Billing Clerk/Office Support Assistant at Anew Home Care. Melanie holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
