Terese Hougaard is an experienced professional with a background in social pedagogy and organizational consultancy. Currently serving as a Specialkonsulent and Organisationskonsulent at Socialpædagogerne since January 2021, Terese has previously held the role of Organisationskonsulent at Danske Fodterapeuter from May 2015 to December 2020, focusing on contract consulting within a politically governed organization. Prior experience includes teaching high school classes on democracy, development, globalization, and intercultural communication at Mellemfolkelig Samvirke – ActionAid Denmark, along with program coordination for Global Højskole initiatives in various countries. Terese has a history of mentoring young women from ethnic minorities and has provided training and support for children with disabilities. Terese holds a Master's degree in Communication and Cultural and Language Studies from Roskilde University and has been involved in various volunteer roles, showcasing strong skills in facilitation, project management, and communication.
