Richard Baker is an accomplished leader in the field of intellectual property with extensive experience in patent monetization, portfolio management, and strategic direction. As President of New England Intellectual Property since November 2010, Richard specializes in assisting corporations with patent creation and prosecution. In addition, Richard serves as President of the National Association of Patent Practitioners and is a Board Member for the Town of West Newbury Board of Assessors. Richard has previously held significant roles including Director of Intellectual Property at Bottomline Technologies and Director of Patent Sales at HP. Richard is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and holds a degree from Harvard University, furthering a solid educational foundation with a legal education from Pierce Law.
