Gustavo E. Flores Bauer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in emergency medical services and critical care. As the Director of Emergency & Critical Care Trainings LLC since June 2014, Gustavo provides leadership and mentorship. Concurrently, Gustavo serves as a Protective Security Specialist-Medic at Acuity International, focusing on high-threat diplomatic protection. In addition, Gustavo holds positions including Secretary of the Board of Directors at First Response Emergency Medical Services, Inc., Inspector Auxiliar at the Puerto Rico Police Department, and Editorial Board Member for EMS1.com, contributing to emergency medical editorial efforts. Gustavo is also the Advocacy, Education, and Membership Coordinator for the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, a member of the Educational Science and Programs Subcommittee at the American Heart Association, and previously served as Editor of EMS World Americas. With a Doctor in Medicine from Universidad Iberoamericana and multiple EMT qualifications, Gustavo’s expertise spans across various facets of emergency care and medical education.
