Edet Unanaowo currently serves as a Motor Carrier Compliance Officer for the Georgia Department of Public Safety, where responsibilities include enforcing State and Federal laws related to commercial motor vehicles and hazardous materials. Prior experience includes roles as a Customer Service Agent, managing communication for emergency and non-emergency situations, and as a Trooper Cadet with the Georgia State Patrol, patrolling and enforcing laws on highways. Edet has also achieved certifications as a fitness instructor, including INSANITY® and Zumba, while actively pursuing further education in group fitness. Previous internships with the Greening Youth Foundation and DeKalb County Police Department provided valuable exposure to various law enforcement units. With a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University, Edet combines expertise in public safety with a commitment to fitness and community engagement.
