Justen D. Hix, CPCE, has extensive experience in event planning and management within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) for the Charlotte NC Chapter, Justen has held multiple leadership roles including President, Vice President, and Secretary, overseeing various chapter initiatives and meeting planning. As Complex Director of Events at Sheraton Charlotte Hotel and Le Meridien Charlotte, Justen specializes in organizing meetings and conferences for up to 2,000 attendees. Previous positions include Director of Catering at Holiday Inn City Center and Catering Manager at Aloft Charlotte Uptown, where Justen achieved significant revenue growth while managing event details. Justen's career began as a Credit Manager at both Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel and Sheraton Imperial Hotel, managing accounts receivable and financial discrepancies. Justen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
