Laura Sidwell Smith, CMP-T, CWMF, serves as the Chief Advancement Officer at the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies since May 2002, where responsibilities include overseeing fundraising efforts, collaborating with leadership on advocacy for public support, managing development committees, and advising on governance issues. Previous roles include Director of Resource Development at the National Mentoring Partnership and Director of Foundations at the American Architectural Foundation. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Laura has experience in workplace mindfulness initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership and well-being.
