Angie Anaeme has extensive experience in counseling and medical assistance, currently serving as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line since November 2020, where Angie provides crucial support to individuals in immediate crises. In addition to this role, Angie leads support groups for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, offering education and community for those affected by alopecia areata. As a Medical Assistant at The Wound Care Clinics of Arizona since May 2018, Angie assists healthcare providers with clinical tasks and wound care procedures. Previous leadership experience includes serving as President of the Duke Chapter for You Can Too Program, mentoring minority students, and working as a Resident Assistant at Duke University, fostering personal and academic development among residents. Angie also contributed to research at SMART Brain Aging, Inc. and holds a degree in Evolutionary Anthropology with a Global Health minor from Duke University.
