Annie Howard is a Policy and Research Manager at the National AIDS Trust since November 2022, focusing on research to inform policy, campaigning, and advocacy related to HIV. Concurrently, Annie serves as a consultant for the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, leading HIV monitoring in Europe and Central Asia and producing thematic reports on the Dublin Declaration on HIV/AIDS. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Scientist and Scientist at the UK Health Security Agency, contributing to COVID-19 incident response and serving as the International Health Regulations National Focal Point. Annie holds a Master of Science in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and dual bachelor's degrees in Biology/Population Health and Psychology/Sociology from The Australian National University.
