Dimitrios Balezios has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, particularly in trade finance and core banking operations. Currently serving as a Business Expert Manager at Natech since June 2020, Balezios focuses on the design and implementation of an autonomous Trade Finance core banking application while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. Prior roles include Central Operations – Core Trade Finance Operations Manager at Praxiabank, where Balezios oversaw operations for retail and corporate customer onboarding, and Head Deputy Director positions at the National Bank of Greece, managing payment orders and trade finance payments. As a founder executive at PROBANK S.A., Balezios played a key role in establishing the bank and developing in-house applications for managing international trade activities. Balezios’s career began as a financial statements auditor at Moore Stevens International and includes significant contributions to the merger processes in various banks. An alumnus of Athens University of Economics and Business, Balezios holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing.
