Lorna Burnell

Lead Modeller - Hydrology at natcap

Lorna Burnell is a skilled hydrologist with extensive experience in spatial modelling, currently serving as Lead Modeller at NatCap Research since September 2020. Previous roles include Spatial Modeller at NatCap Research and Vice President and Treasurer for the University of Nottingham's Scuba Diving Society, where responsibilities involved organizing events and teaching scuba diving. Lorna also acted as Research Group Lead Coordinator for the School of Geography Water Research group and contributed as a PhD Student Tutor and Demonstrator. Prior internships include a mentorship role with the Royal Geographical Society and a summer internship at Clear, focusing on environmental modelling. Lorna holds a PhD in Mathematics and a degree in Physical Geography from the University of Nottingham.
