Pamela Nixon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health and social services. Currently serving as the Manager of Professional Development at the National Association of Social Workers since September 2022, Pamela has previously held the role of Membership Concierge at the Connecticut State Dental Association, where personalized member outreach and high-touch customer service were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes being an Employee Experience Coordinator at Community Health Charities of New England, Inc., and a Patient Navigator at the American Lung Association, facilitating support for cancer patients. Pamela has also directed lung health programs and worked as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care Therapy and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Hartford.
