Aliah D. Wright is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in managing public relations and social media strategies. Currently serving as a Senior Public Relations Professional at the National Association of Social Workers since June 2018, Aliah has successfully developed campaigns and outreach initiatives, elevating the profile of the social work profession. Prior to this role, Aliah held multiple positions at SHRM from March 2008 to June 2018, where responsibilities included speechwriting and strategic communication. Aliah’s earlier career includes impactful roles as an Entertainment Editor at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, and as a Political Correspondent for The Associated Press.
