Soumendu Satapathy is currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Nasuni since April 2024, specializing in global file systems. Prior to this, Soumendu held the position of Lead Software Architect/Engineer at Citrix from April 2023 to December 2023, focusing on Citrix Gateway, Linux kernel, network protocols, and eBPF. During a tenure at Dell EMC from March 2022 to February 2023 as a Senior Principal Engineer, Soumendu contributed to Dell EMC Powerstore with an emphasis on SCSI, NVMe, iSCSI, and FC technologies. Experience also includes serving as a Principal Engineer/Software Architect for ByteDance's Infrastructure Labs and Senior Staff Engineer at ZT Systems, where work was done on various aspects of cloud computing and distributed systems. Previous roles at Cisco, NetApp, RELDATA, Conexant, and VMware further solidified expertise in Linux kernel development, data protection, disaster recovery, and embedded system applications. Soumendu holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, attained between 1995 and 1999.
