Emily Hale has a diverse work experience within the fashion industry. Emily started their career as a Sales Assistant at River Island in December 2017. Emily then worked at TOPSHOP TOPMAN as an Expert Sales Assistant for three years, with a temporary leave to pursue their first year of university. During this time, they focused on improving their customer service skills and driving e-receipts and in-store orders.
In 2019, Emily had the opportunity to work as a Fashion Design Intern at Nasty Gal, where they developed their research skills, drawing capabilities, and personal confidence. Emily worked closely with the design team, sketching clothing designs and following their development from 2D to 3D.
After completing their university studies, Emily returned to Nasty Gal as an Assistant Fashion Designer. Emily initially designed for outerwear, knitwear, and swimwear departments and later transitioned to solely designing for the swimwear, beachwear, nightwear, and lingerie departments. Emily was later promoted to a Junior Designer position, where they continue to grow and develop these areas to their maximum potential.
Emily Hale has a strong education background and obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Technology from The Manchester Metropolitan University between 2017 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their A-Levels at Bishop Heber High School Sixth Form from 2015 to 2017. Emily's academic journey began at Bishop Heber High School, where they achieved their GCSE qualification from 2010 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Emily obtained a certification in Mental Health First Aid from Health Perks Ltd in February 2022.
