Annie Herlocker is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Regional Branch Manager at Nashville Public Library since September 2016. In this role, Annie provides vision and strategic direction for the Richland Park Branch while managing operations at the secondary location, Watkins Park. Previous positions include Assistant Director at Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library, where Annie led over 40 staff members and managed technology updates. At Rutherford County Library System, Annie was the Collection Development Coordinator, overseeing materials acquisition across a four-branch system. Additionally, Annie has taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film, focusing on 3-D fundamentals and craftsmanship in book structures. With a Master of Library & Information Science and a Master of Fine Arts in Book Arts from the University of Alabama, along with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Ball State University, Annie possesses a strong educational background to support extensive library management experience.
