Elsa Givan currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Nasdaq, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Givan was a Senior Strategist at Newlab, an organization dedicated to applied innovation, where Givan worked from August 2022 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Principal at Silicon Foundry from February 2020 to August 2022, an innovation advisory firm that collaborates with major corporations to identify growth opportunities. Givan also engaged in speechwriting at West Wing Writers in late 2019, producing speeches and messaging for a diverse clientele, and worked as an Associate at Capco, specializing in digital transformation strategies for commercial banks from June 2018 to July 2019. Givan holds a Bachelor of Science in International Politics with a concentration in Security Studies from Georgetown University.
