Mike Partain has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering. Mike currently works as a Principal Network Engineer at NASCAR since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Sr Network Engineer at SMS Data Products Group, Inc. from 2017 to 2022, where they provided network engineering support for the Department of Defense Joint Regional Security Stacks. Before that, they served in the US Army as an Enterprise Routing Team Lead / IT Specialist GS-13 from 2010 to 2022, where they managed enterprise networks and resolved network issues. Mike also worked as a Sr. Network Engineer at DRS TSI from 2008 to 2010, where they managed a Cisco network and established connectivity between different sites. Additionally, they gained experience as a Sr. Network Engineer at Northrop Grumman from 2006 to 2008, where they redesigned and implemented the Air Force Satellite Control Network. Their earlier work includes serving as a Sr. Network Engineer at Titan Systems from 2003 to 2006, where they supervised network team contractors and installed and maintained network equipment. Mike began their career as a Staff Consultant at Exodus Communications from 2000 to 2003.

Mike Partain attended Crystal River, FL from 1985 to 1990. Mike did not obtain a degree or study a specific field during this time. Additionally, Mike has obtained several certifications, including JNCIA in June 2016, CCDP in 2014, CASP in 2013, CCNP in 2011, and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) from Cisco, although the exact year of obtaining CCNP is unknown.
