Sean Buckley is the Manager of the Radar Science and Engineering Section at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, overseeing a team of 180 professionals engaged in the development of innovative radar technologies for various scientific missions. With a rich background in radar science and engineering, Sean has led multiple projects, including the OPERA Project and contributed to the NISAR and VERITAS missions. Previously, Sean served as an Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin, where education and mentorship in aerospace engineering were central to the role. Sean holds a PhD and MS in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
