Urusa Salman has a strong background in Information Technology (IT) professional services contracts. Urusa started their career as the Vice President and Program Director/Manager at Advanced Technology Systems in 1991, where they oversaw operations and ensured successful performance on 12 contracts worth $52 million. Urusa then joined Impact Innovations Group in 2003 as the Vice President of Civilian Programs, where they were responsible for the operations of IT professional services contracts and achieved tremendous success by winning new contracts and recapturing existing ones. In 2004, they became the Vice President at Dynamics Research Corporation, where they played a key role in the profitable sale of Impact Innovations Group's federal business. The same year, they also became the Chief Executive Officer of NARTech, Inc., where they successfully captured and managed IT professional services contracts. Urusa Salman has a proven track record of driving revenue growth and ensuring profitable performance in the IT industry.
Urusa Salman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. In 2001, they pursued an Information Technology field of study and obtained a Federal CIO Certification from Carnegie Mellon University, studying there from 2001 to 2002. Urusa then pursued further education in Project Management, completing a PMP Certification from PMI between 2007 and 2021. In 2016, Urusa also obtained a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Agile CSM. Additionally, they hold a Federal CIO Certification from Carnegie Mellon University, obtained from the H. John Heinz III College.
