AD Tenn is an experienced poetry editor and creative writer with a robust background in literary publishing and community engagement. Currently serving as the Assistant Poetry Editor at Narrative Magazine since August 2018, AD Tenn evaluates poetry submissions weekly. Previous positions include Data Management Specialist at The Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund, and a Summer Intern at Copper Canyon Press, where manuscript evaluation and publicity kit preparation were key responsibilities. AD Tenn has also held editorial and managerial roles at various publications and institutions, including The Cliffhanger and The TeaHaus at Sarah Lawrence College. Education includes a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, Gender and Sexuality, and Media Studies from Sarah Lawrence College, supplemented by a year as a visiting student at Trinity College Dublin.
