Susan O'Brien is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in crisis management and counseling. Currently serving as a Mobile Crisis Clinician at Hegira Health, Inc. since March 2023, Susan also holds the position of Mental Health Director at NaphCare, Inc. for the Wayne County jail since December 2021. In addition, Susan has been a Crisis Counselor at Netcare Access since August 2015, specializing in assessments and referrals for individuals facing various mental health challenges. Previous roles include Counselor at Mid-Ohio Psychological Services, focusing on anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders, and Counselor Trainee at Counseling Ltd., where programming for sexual offenders was emphasized. Earlier experience includes serving as a Juvenile Detention Officer at the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center. Susan earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Otterbein University.
