Doug Rippe, MBA, CFA has extensive work experience in finance, operations, and business development. Doug most recently worked as the IT Business Operations Manager at the City of Naperville, overseeing and managing the IT Department's financial, budgetary, and procurement activities. Prior to that, they were the Director of Finance at CBRE, where they led a team managing tools to estimate and benchmark facilities management services costs globally.

Earlier in their career, Rippe worked at Ericsson, where they held several roles including Operations Finance Lead for Services Costing and Pricing, Operations Finance Lead for Services Quoting, and Product Manager for Wireless Services. Doug was responsible for managing services cost and price models, quoting services for wireless network design and deployment, and product management of various services.

Before joining Ericsson, Rippe worked at Nortel Networks as a Business Manager for Audit & Optimization Services and as an Engagement Leader for Consulting Services. At Nortel, they were responsible for service development, marketing, and sales support.

Rippe also has experience as the Managing Director & Engagement Leader at Caliper Consulting, where they landed and managed consulting engagements in the areas of accounting, finance, and investment management. Additionally, they worked as an Investment Analyst at Nite Capital LLC, where they generated deal flow and managed investments.

Earlier in their career, Rippe held roles at Tellabs as the Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Senior Manager of Business Development M&A. Doug was responsible for strategic planning, financial projections, sales forecasting, and M&A analysis.

Rippe began their career at Motorola, where they worked in business development and marketing for the Broadband Multimedia Group. Doug was responsible for managing strategic alliances and performing financial analysis for the CyberSeed Venture Investment program.

Prior to Motorola, Rippe worked at Lucent as a Member of Technical Staff, with various roles in technical support, systems engineering, product management, and forward-looking work at Bell Labs. Their technology focus was on the 5ESS switching system and related technologies.

Overall, Rippe has a strong background in finance, operations, and business development across multiple industries, including telecom, consulting, real estate, and government. Doug has expertise in financial modeling, cost estimation, risk management, and strategic planning.

Doug Rippe, MBA, CFA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, Accounting, and Statistics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Their undergraduate education involved completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Iowa. In addition to their formal education, Doug Rippe has also obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
