Marco Antonio Llamas Morote

Marco Antonio Llamas Morote has over 12 years of experience in RF Engineering, with a focus on developing RF tuneable devices. Marco Antonio is currently the Founder and VP of RF Engineering at Nanusens, where they lead the development of RF nano-switch designs. Prior to Nanusens, Marco worked as an independent contractor and consultant in RF and microwave technology. Marco Antonio also served as an RF/microwave lead engineer at Baolab Microsystems and was involved in the design of MEMS devices for RF applications. Marco received their Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya, where they specialized in the design of electrostatic switches and variable capacitors for RF-MEMS devices. Additionally, they have experience as a project manager and an assistant professor in the field of RF/microwave design. Earlier in their career, Marco conducted research on the effects of space radiation on HBT SiGe devices as a student grant recipient at LAAS-CNRS.

Marco Antonio Llamas Morote has a strong educational background in electrical, electronics, and communications engineering. Marco Antonio began their academic journey in 1998 at E.U. Politécnica de Vilanova y la Geltru, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Building upon this foundation, Marco pursued further education at E.T.S. De ingenieria de telecomunicaciones de Barcelona (UPC) from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Marco's education culminated in their enrollment at Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya's Signal Theory and Communications Department from 2005 to 2009. During this period, they successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. These academic achievements demonstrate Marco's dedication and expertise in their chosen field.
