Atif Pervez is a highly skilled Research Scientist specializing in battery technology, currently leading the development of new electrode materials at NanoXplore Inc. since June 2021, while also serving as Technical Team Lead at VoltaXplore since 2022. With a robust academic and professional background, Atif has previously held research roles at the University of Calgary, Helmholtz Institute Ulm, and Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute, focusing on solid-state batteries, ceramic and polymer solid electrolytes, and advanced materials for lithium-ion cells. Atif has earned a PhD in Energy Materials from the University of Science and Technology, Korea, and a Master’s degree in Semiconductor Materials and Devices from Seoul National University. Additionally, Atif has contributed as an independent entrepreneur, gaining recognition as a finalist for a project that aimed to leverage second-life battery cells for energy storage solutions.
