Taras Balyuk has had a varied career, beginning with a role as a Medical Doctor at Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children's Hospital in 2011. In 2015, they moved to Prana Coders as a Software Test Engineer. In 2018, they began working at Nanotronics, starting as a QA Engineer, then becoming Lead QA Engineer, and eventually Software QA Manager. That same year, they also began working at Hogarth for Apple as a Software QA Tester.

Taras Balyuk obtained their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University in 2011, having completed a Pediatric Orthopedics Residency Program. In 2014, they attended PCS in Los Altos, CA and obtained a Software Test Engineer degree in Quality Assurance. In 2020, they obtained a Manager's Toolkit: A Practical Guide to Managing People at Work certification from the University of London. Additionally, they hold an EF Standard English Test (EF SET) English Certificate at a Proficient (CEFR C2) level and a Python programming for testers certification from Software-Testing.Ru.
