Mussie Abraha, DVM, MS, currently serves as a Senior Scientist at the Center for Breakthrough Medicines since August 2022. Prior to this role, Mussie held positions as a Scientist at Forge Biologics from November 2021 to July 2022 and at Nanoscope Therapeutics Inc. from May 2020 to October 2021. Additionally, Mussie worked as a Molecular Microbiologist and Immunologist at the University of Arkansas between January 2018 and May 2020, and as a Molecular Microbiologist in vaccine research at the National Animal Health Lab from September 2013 to January 2018. Mussie completed a Master's of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2020 and earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Hamelmalo Agricultural College in Keren, Eritrea.
