Neal Dawson-Elli, Ph.D. has had a diverse work experience. In 2011 and 2012, they interned at Corning Incorporated. In 2015, they pursued a Ph.D. at the University of Washington, where they focused on using creative implementations of Machine Learning for optimization and control of Lithium Ion batteries and related models. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Faraday Technology, Inc. In 2019, they were a Data Engineering Fellow at Insight Data Science and also worked as a Data Engineer at PayScale, Inc., where they hosted flask applications on kubernetes, handled ETL pipelines for snowflake, and did general Python and C# development. Currently, they are a Team Lead - Machine Learning at Nanoramic Laboratories.
Neal Dawson-Elli, Ph.D. received their Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2015.
