Kristen Basham is Nanoracks’ Director of Marketing and Public Relations. Previously Kristen led a number of stakeholder engagement opportunities at Lockheed Martin, including managing public and VIP events for the Artemis 1 launch and coordinating outreach activities for Lockheed Martin’s human and lunar spaceflight campaigns.

Prior to Lockheed Martin, Kristen was a communications manager at Northrop Grumman/Orbital ATK. In this role she led communications campaigns for many high-profile missions, including the company’s Cygnus ISS cargo resupply service and the historic dockings of Mission Extension Vehicle 1 & 2.

Kristen started her career at NASA Goddard Spaceflight Center supporting education and public outreach initiatives for the Astrophysics Projects Division and Hubble Space Telescope.

Kristen holds a B.S. in Journalism from West Virginia University.
