Jon Sarafinas is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product hardware and technical program management. Currently serving as the Director of Product Hardware at Nanit since September 2024, Jon previously held roles at SimpliSafe as a Senior Technical Program Manager and Senior Systems Engineer, where responsibilities included managing home security device programs and leading technical teams in hardware development. Prior experience includes directing engineering efforts at The Lumenpulse Group, overseeing a team in the creation of LED lighting solutions, and positions at MITRE, EMC, Raytheon, and Penn State University’s ARL NRDC, focusing on communications systems, hardware design, and sensor evaluation. Jon earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in 2010.
