Dana Malan has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and engagement, currently serving as the Director of Outreach and Engagement at NAMI Minnesota since September 2021, where the focus is on advocating for mental health and promoting understanding of mental illnesses. Prior to this role, Dana held various positions at the American Cancer Society from 2008 to 2021, including Director of the Volunteer Platform and Patient Service Center Supervisor, demonstrating a strong commitment to volunteer management and patient support. Dana holds a degree in Sociology from Antioch College, earned between 1996 and 2003.
