Deepika Phakke is an accomplished entrepreneur and seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. As the Founder & CEO of Nama Water since August 2022, Deepika spearheads a zero-waste bottled water company focused on ethical sourcing and sustainable packaging. Deepika also serves as an investor for Velt and a yoga instructor at CorePower Yoga, showcasing a diverse skill set. Additionally, Deepika plays an active role in community engagement as the Board Vice President of the Gateway Tenants Association, advocating for tenants' rights and supporting local businesses in San Francisco. Previous experience at Google from June 2011 to August 2022 involved significant positions in product strategy, operations, and account management, contributing to the scaling of a $20B ads business. Deepika's educational background includes executive education from The Wharton School and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Francis College for Women.
