Rowan Gormley is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in the wine retail industry. Gormley founded Naked Wines in 2008, which became the UK's fastest-growing online wine retailer by 2011, and served as CEO of Majestic Wine from April 2015 until January 2020. Gormley has also played a significant role in founding Virgin Wines and Virgin Money, contributing to both ventures alongside notable co-founders. Gormley held the position of Chairman at Naked Wines starting in November 2023 and was previously retired from HMS PolePole from January 2020 to November 2023. Early career experiences include roles at Electra Partners and Arthur Andersen, complemented by education at the University of Cape Town and Selborne College.
