Zohar Aharony is a Mechanical Engineering Team Lead at NakAI Robotics since September 2022, where the focus is on developing AI-guided robotics aimed at improving the inspection and grooming of ship hulls, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the prevention of invasive species. Prior to this role, Zohar served as a Mechanical Engineer and researcher at the Meadow Aerodynamics Laboratory at Tel Aviv University from August 2018 to September 2022, specializing in the design and optimization of flow control systems, as well as conducting machine learning optimization and computational fluid dynamics investigations. Zohar has also been involved in teaching as an assistant for various mechanical engineering courses and performed research in the Fracture Mechanics Laboratory, focusing on rapid-crack propagation and finite element analysis. Zohar holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
