Rachel Chen is a seasoned Test Automation Engineer with extensive experience in software quality assurance. Currently employed at NagraStar since May 2023, Rachel focuses on GUI automation for web applications using Cypress, JavaScript, and GitLab, and is responsible for designing and maintaining an end-to-end test framework. Prior to this, Rachel worked at ViaSat Inc. from 2017 to 2023, where responsibilities included designing and implementing integration test suites with Robot Framework, Python, and Selenium. Rachel's earlier roles included positions at Polycom as Staff QA Engineer and Senior Software QA Engineer, where contributions involved test planning, execution, and defect documentation for various products, as well as a technical support role at AMD that encompassed the entire product development lifecycle. Rachel holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
