Mark Siew

Associate Director, Strategic Planning at Naga DDB Tribal

Mark Siew has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Mark started their career in 2015 as the President of APU Debate Society, where they honed their speechcraft and case construction skills.

In 2016, they worked as a Copywriter at The IBR Asia Group, where they were responsible for researching, writing, and proofreading articles across 15 publications. Mark also took on the roles of Journalist and Media Liaison when required.

From 2013 to 2016, Mark founded and managed IndieVerse, an independent music digital publication that received positive reviews from professionals in the music industry.

In 2016, they joined BBDO / Proximity Malaysia as an Account Executive, and in 2017, they became a Client Services Manager at Clozette Pte Ltd, where they focused on managing clients in Malaysia.

Currently, Mark works at Naga DDB Tribal as an Associate Director, Strategic Planning, where they have been since 2021. Prior to this position, they served as a Senior Strategist, working with brands such as Astro, Prudential, KFC, and Digi.

Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated their ability to identify and reframe challenges, generate new ideas, and develop clear strategies for brands.

Mark Siew attended the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology in 2014. In addition, they have obtained various certifications such as the Advanced Certificate in Effectiveness from IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) in 2022, Digital Skills: User Experience from Accenture in 2020, Content Marketing Certified, Inbound Marketing Certified, and Social Media Certified from HubSpot Academy in November 2020, and The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage in 2020.
