Mary Koleas is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Nacogdoches Independent School District since August 2021. Prior to this role, Mary held the position of Administrator at Wesley Foundation at SFA from July 2019 to August 2021 and worked as a Teacher for Natchitoches Parish School Board from August 2018 to May 2019, specializing as a self-contained first-grade teacher. Additionally, from July 2008 to July 2017, Mary served as the Administrative Coordinator for the National Writing Project at NSULA, where responsibilities included coordinating events, professional development training, and managing federal grant funds and reporting. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Northwestern State University.
